| ISOTROPIC DRY TYPE FERRITE MAGNET |
| Introduction |
| Isotropic magnet are sintered permanent
magnets (BaO or SrO. 6Fe2O3)
composed of barium ferrite or strontium ferrite. This class of magnets aside from good
resistance to demagnetization, has the popular advantage of low cost. Due to their low
cost, isotropic magnets enjoy a very wide rang of application, from motor dynamo, toys,
novelty and are the most widely used permant magnet today. They are not oriented and can be magnetized in any direction, although some degree of greater magnetic strength will be found in the pressing dimension, usually the shortest dimension. BA1: Barium ferrite (BaO.6Fe2O3) is general used in toy industry SA-1: Strontium ferrite (SrO.6Fe2O3) is general used in toy industry EN-71: testing
