ANISOTROPIC WET TYPE FERRITE MAGNETS |
(I) Introduction: |
Anisotropic type magnets are sintered permanent magnets composed of strontium ferrite and are pressed in a magnetic field for a preferred direction They have only in this preferred direction good magnetic properties and can be magnetized only in this direction. At the same magnetic volume a higher magnetic flux is obtained than with isotropic magnets. They also exist in two types (dry and wet type.) A dry pressed magnets is formed by molding into the desired shape.A wet press magnet is formed by slowly molding mud-like impalpable into the desired shape. |
